Clean & Clear?
Heute überliess mir
Chris wieder sein Auto, da er viel arbeiten wollte… So machte ich mich um 10
Uhr auf zum Italia Coffee House (https://www.iloveitaliacoffee.com) für einen doppelten Espresso und bestellte
nebenan einen frisch gepresster Orangensaft – jetzt konnte der Tag so richtig
beginnen!
Today Chris let me again use his car because he wanted to work a lot... So at 10 am I drove to the Italia Coffee House (https://www.iloveitaliacoffee.com) for a double espresso and ordered a fresh orange juice next door - now the day could really start!

Eine Stunde später
erreichte ich die Bottom Bay, wo mich Kayode schon erwartete. Er hatte für mich
bereits eine Tour zusammengestellt und wollte mir Strände und Orte an der
Südostküste zeigen, die ich noch nicht kannte – gut gelungen! : )
Und wir
reflektierten über einen Plan für unseren Planeten… global gesehen gibt es da
natürlich viel zu tun aber am besten ist es, wenn man an Ort und Stelle
beginnt... Obwohl die Strände hier ziemlich sauber sind und Abfall meist nur an
einsamen Stränden und Orten ins Auge sticht, erkannten wir dass es auch auf
Barbados Arbeit für clean & clear gibt! Die Leute hier sind bereits
sensibilisiert was Umwelt und Gesundheit angeht und ein grosser Vorteil ist,
dass fast überall und viele Abfalleimer bereit stehen!
An hour later I reached Bottom Bay, where Kayode was already waiting for me. He had put together a tour for me and wanted to show me beaches and places on the southeast coast I did not know yet – he succeeded well! : )
And we reflected on a plan for our planet... from a global perspective of course there is much to do, but it is best to start on the spot... Although the beaches are pretty clean here and waste leap to the eye mostly on deserted beaches and locations, we realized that also on Barbados there is work for clean & clear! People here are already aware of what environmental and health terms are concerned and a big advantage is, that almost everywhere and there are many waste bins!

Im Ocean Reef
angekommen duftete es nach einem feinen Curry, das Chris am zubereiten war…
Zuerst lockte aber noch das türkisfarbene Meer für eine kurze Erfrischung und
als es dämmerte installierte Chris kurzentschlossen eine Weihnachtsbeleuchtung.
Das Essen schmeckte übrigens so gut wie es duftete! : )

Back at Ocean Reef it smelled deliciously... Chris was preparing a curry.
But first we had a quick dip in the turquoise sea and when it was dawning Chris spontaneously installed
Christmas lights. By the way, the food tasted as good as it smelled! : )
